Quokka Sports Partners With General Motors to Bring the GM Experience To Consumers Online
General Motors Creates Unique Online Experience With the Quokka Sports Network

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 12 -- Quokka Sports
announced today they are partnering with General Motors, to bring
the "GM Experience" at the 2000 North American International Auto Show to
online consumers. Quokka Sports, which has pioneered new techniques in
delivering immersive sporting experiences to online viewers, is now creating
new ways to immerse viewers in its sponsors' brand experience online. Quokka
has already developed "brand immersion" features for other companies,
including Compaq, Computer Associates and Intel. As a component of a
sponsorship on Quokka.com, Quokka Sports will create an online experience that
immerses the virtual visitors into the "GM Experience" and give them an
intimate connection with the GM brands. Visitors will find out about the site
through promotions on the Quokka Sports Network, gm.com and a multi-media ad
campaign.
"This alliance with GM exemplifies the range of sponsorship opportunities
that Quokka Sports can provide to its partners," said Alan Ramadan, CEO and
founder of Quokka Sports. "We are pleased to be partnering with GM to deliver
an enhanced and immersive customer experience on the Internet."

Internet, GM is working with proven cutting-edge companies like Quokka, to
bring an enhanced experience to our customers," said Mark Hogan, president of
