24 July 2000

Leading Internet Loyalty Marketing Company Helps Infiniti Reward Car Buyers

LOS ANGELES - Need to buy a new car but can't make up your mind? Infiniti, Nissan's luxury car division, is teaming up with Perks.com, a provider of Internet-based loyalty retention and sales force incentive solutions, to launch a purchase incentive program for the Infiniti I30 beginning Aug. 1.

"We want to show our customers they are truly appreciated and valued," said Tom Orbe, vice president and general manager, Infiniti Division, Nissan North America Inc. "We chose Perks.com as a marketing partner for this value package because they offer a one-stop shop for our needs. Infiniti has long been recognized as an industry leader in customer service and satisfaction, this is just another step for us."

The I30 Purchase Incentive program will occur in two test markets: Chicago and San Francisco. Anyone who buys or leases an Infiniti I30 between Aug. 1 and Oct. 2, 2000, will have the opportunity to choose a "thank-you gift" valued at more than $1000. There will be approximately 10 thank-you gifts to choose from, including a weekend at the luxurious Four Seasons Las Vegas and a Fuji film digital camera and printer.

Perks.com built an I30 Purchase Incentive site to provide program information as well as a means for qualified participants to choose their thank-you gift online. Infiniti is going to communicate this program to I30 prospects via newspaper advertisements, radio advertisements and dealership point-of-purchase materials.
