Convenient Parking and Transportation Available in Downtown Detroit For Closing Weekend of North American International Auto Show 2001

DETROIT, Jan. 18 As the closing weekend of the
North American International Auto Show at Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center
approaches, the City of Detroit is reminding attendees that there is
convenient and accessible parking and transportation downtown. Visitors are
encouraged to park at facilities near People Mover stations and ride over to
the show. For added convenience, new temporary auto show parking signs have
been placed in the downtown area to assist motorists. Individuals are
encouraged to utilize City of Detroit Municipal Parking facilities along the
Detroit People Mover route. Two People Mover stations -- Grand Circus Park
and Cadillac Square -- are closed due to construction.
