(RALEIGH, NC) September 14, 2006 - Committed to building upon the success she's gained over the years, Candyce Marsh is ready to compete in this weekend's Eastern Race Fuels Dragstock III event at Rockingham Dragway. The event, held September 15-16, will be presented by The American Drag Racing League.

Marsh, and her race team, have spent months testing and preparing for this year's racing season to ensure continuous progress on the racetrack. As part of this prep work, her team has worked hard to pull together a competitive program that's ultimately design to drive them to victory at the finish line.

* In 2000, Marsh expanded her race program to include a state of the art engine prepared by AC Delco sponsored Harold Martin. She also transitioned into the Top Sportsman class.

* In 2004, Marsh qualified among the top eight cars at each drag racing event she competed in for the season with elapsed times in the six-second zone.

* In 2005, Marsh and her team set the bar among her fellow competitors by qualifying in the number 1 position at two national events, a feat no other driver was able to accomplish during the 2005-racing season.
