FIA GP3 - Daly Hungry For Hungary

London, Jul. 26, 2012: Hungary and Germany race weekends being back to back suits ConorConor - Hockenheim Daly just fine. The American has outscored every driver in GP3 for the past four races and he will go to the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary this weekend aiming to keep the trend in tact.

Last weekend in Germany he became the only driver this season to score two podium finishes in a weekend. In the past four races he has outscored all drivers by nine points and moved from sixth in the championship to within two points of third place. "Since the British Grand Prix weekend things have gone pretty well for me. In England I had to overcome the 10 place penalty from Valencia but Germany was a clean weekend getting my best GP3 results ever," said Daly.

Daly has both tested and raced at the Hungaroring in the past so he feels he knows the circuit well. It's a tight and narrow circuit that has been described as Monaco without the houses. Qualifying will be all important as it is a circuit that is difficult to pass on despite the fact that it has a long front straight.

"I have a great team with Lotus GP and they won there last year with Bottas so I know we will go there with a good set up," said Daly. "My plan will be to maintain the consistency of the last four races but I think its time I won another race."

There are six races left in the 2012 GP3 series, two each in Hungary, Spa, Belgium and Monza, Italy.
