Mercedes-Benz Australia Awards Highest Achieving Dealerships for 2013

MELBOURNE –Feb 19, 2014: The National Gallery of Victoria last week played host to the annual Mercedes-Benz Dealer of the Year awards. The gala awards ceremony, held in the famous ‘Great Hall’ of the NGV, celebrated Australia’s most outstanding dealerships for 2013.

The annual awards recognise the exceptional achievements of Australia’s Mercedes-Benz dealerships and their staff, recognising New Vehicle Sales, Service and Parts, Finance and Pre-Owned Sales.

For 2013, the coveted Mercedes-Benz Cars ‘Metropolitan Dealer of the Year’ was awarded to Mercedes-Benz Berwick. Dealer Principal Craig Howard, collectively with his staff, delivered a year of outstanding customer service across all key criteria to be awarded the title of ‘2013 Metropolitan Dealer of the Year’.

The Mercedes-Benz Cars ‘Provincial/Rural Dealer of the Year’ was awarded to Coastal Automotive Centre in Bunbury, Western Australia. The dealership was recognised as a true benchmark dealership in terms of facilities, excellent customer service and performance standards throughout 2013.

The annual Mercedes-Benz Dealer of the Year awards also celebrate the light commercial vehicle dealerships within the Mercedes-Benz dealer network. The highly prized Mercedes-Benz ‘Metropolitan Vans Dealer of the Year’ was awarded to Mercedes-Benz Berwick. The dealership delivered outstanding results in sales and market share growth, customer satisfaction, after-sales and financial services throughout 2013. Coastal Automotive Centre, were awarded the Mercedes-Benz ‘Provincial/Rural Vans Dealer of the Year’ for 2013. Mercedes-Benz Vans Managing Director Diane Tarr presented the award to Dealer Principal Steve Beauglehole, and praised the achievements of the entire Mercedes-Benz Vans dealer network.
