IMS wins 2015 Ingenious Award for Achievement in Innovation

WATERLOO, ON, Nov. 18, 2015 - Intelligent Mechatronic Systems (IMS) has received a prestigious 2015 Ingenious Award recognizing excellence in the innovative use of information and communication technology for the DriveSync® connected car platform. The award was backed by nominations from Intel Corporation and presented by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC).

In 1999, IMS started out as an organization with a vision to build automotive solutions for societal improvements around safer, smarter and greener driving. IMS' innovative DriveSync connected car platform was born out of this idea and today delivers connected car solutions and services, from usage-based insurance to fleet management, to road-usage charging and new driver education.

Critical data processed by the platform delivers intelligence and insights throughout a driver's journey, and provides information, services, and incentives, back to the driver to improve overall driving behavior. Services and solutions from the DriveSync platform are available globally in key markets including, North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
