Yes, all we hear is that everyone is buying trucks and SUVs. They’ve taken the biggest share of the new vehicle market all last year and that probably will continue in 2016.
At the 2016 Chicago Auto Show you can see lots of cars, trucks and SUVs. There are about 1,000 vehicles spread over 1 million square feet. Not only can they be viewed, they also can be driven.
Now in its 108th running, the show is being billed as SUV and truck centric. To change things up a bit, here’s an alphabetical run-down on some CARS you won’t want to miss.

The Audi R8 V10 seen in the Astronaut Super Bowl TV spot can be yours for around $165,000. Climb in and blast off to a top speed of 205mph.
The Buick Avista concept is built on a Camaro platform and is beautiful to behold in person. We may never see it on the road, but the Avista shows what Buick can do.

The 2017 Cadillac CT6 is the luxury brands new, large entry. It’s designed to return Cadillac to its once-lofty position as the Standard of the World. Priced starting around $53,000.

The Dodge Viper GTS is pure American muscle and will run circles around a race track all day long. Powerful and brawny, its big rear wing will make you want to fly.

The 2017 Ford GT will be taking Ford back to racing at LeMans. The super-car will make you drool. Only 250 will be built priced around $400,000. Top speed is in the 200mph range.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental is expected to move the brand more firmly in the luxury segment. Priced near $50,000 to start the exterior lights come on as you approach with the key fob in your hand. It’s chock-full of the latest and best driver assistance safety technology.

Supercars appear in full force. The lineup features the first North American auto show appearance of the Bentley Bentayga and also includes the Acura NSX, Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GTC, BMW i8, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Lamborghini Huracan, Lotus Evora & Exige, McLaren 650S, and Rolls-Royce Dawn, Ghost, Phantom Drophead and Wraith.
The Chicago Auto Show is a must-visit for any car enthusiast. It’s worth a half-days drive, or even come spend the night in the Windy City with its great shopping and restaurants. The Chicago Auto Show outperforms every other auto show in the U.S. in measures like awareness, attendance and sales. The show runs from February 13 to 21.
