Upgraded Look and Engine for Their Midsize SUV

The 2021 model year Hyundai has a new look and enhanced power in three available trims, the base Blue trim, SEL, and Limited. The value and quality, and the lowering of its carbon footprint will attract eco-concerned buyers.
The new 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 59-horsepower electric motor yield 226 horsepower with and 195 lb-ft of torque and gives the driver instant torque from the electric motor. The 6-speed automatic transmission controls that power through an HTRAC all-wheel-drive system and engaging the AWD lock that turns on an electronically controlled rear coupler for off road use. Fuel consumption numbers are City / Highway / Combined 33 / 30 / 32.
Upgraded safety systems include cyclist and junction-turning detection, parking collision avoidance assist with a reverse function, highway drive assist, lane following assist, and navigation-based
smart cruise control with road curve control.

The interior features a new center stack and console design which appears daunting just by the amount of buttons, but actually they are clustered by system or type and easily become second nature.
The larger 10.25-inch widescreen navigation display is useful when you are determining alternate routes to avoid slow traffic. There is also wireless phone charging, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
