7 June 1999
BURTI STILL LEADS Brazilian driver Luciano Burti is still leading the British F-3 Championship after the 7th round in Croft this weekend. Burti finished second behind Marc Hynes and now both drivers have 94 points. I saw that I couldnt overtake him, so I kept a bit back and concentrated myself on making the fastest lap and getting one extra point said Burti. Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan finished third and is now very close on Jenson Button, fighting for the third place in the championship. He is the best indian driver in motorsport history.
