1996 Product Introduction
The 1996 Buell American Motorcycles product line is the most expansive in the short history of the company. In addition to its established product, the S2 Thunderbolt, Buell is introducing two new models. The advanced new S1 features aggressive looks and performance destined to redefine sport motorcycling, while the S2T Thunderbolt Sport Touring edition adds highway comfort to the list of Buell attributes.
Each model is packed with competitive features designed to give riders a one-of-a-kind exhilarating experience for which Buells are know.

Buell has named 146 dealers -- in all the top sport bike markets -- to anchor its United States motorcycle distribution network. Introductory plans call for Buell products to be marketed exclusively through Harley-Davidson dealerships.
